The full, true nature of the Black Goat of the Woods isn't entirely known. What is known is that its cultists look to bring the world back to a much more primordial time, and they're willing to sacrifice anyone that stands in their way. The Black Goat of the Woods is followed by its thousand young, moving like a stampede against all that oppose them.

The Black Goat of the Woods expansion for Cthulhu: Death May Die brings another Elder One to the game. Players can choose it as their nemesis when setting up a scenario. The Black Goat of the Woods works primarily through summoning Dark Young who gain different buffs and bonuses from their Mythos cards. The Investigators will truly have their work cut out for them.
